Eileen Bodey is the Subject Coordinator for the academic skills subject Language and Literacy, part of the University Access Program (UAP) at UOWCA. The program is targeted mainly to domestic, mature-aged students seeking an offer into a degree at the University of Wollongong (UOW). She has taught on the UAP program for ten years and found it most rewarding being a part of students' educational journey. Her degree in Arts, Diploma in Education, and Masters of International Studies with Distinction were attained at UOW. She studied overseas at the University of the South Pacific (USP) in Fiji, whilst part of the Australian Volunteers Abroad (AVA) program.
