Dr Venkat Yanamandram is an Associate Professor of Marketing in the Faculty of Business and Law, UOW. He was awarded his PhD from the University of Sydney. He has published in peer-reviewed business journals (over 40% A* or A-ranked articles on the ABDC journal quality list). He received the UOW Vice Chancellor's Faculty Award for Teaching (OCTAL) and was nominated for the award for several years. He received various internal and external grants totalling nearly $200K for various teaching-related and discipline-specific research projects.

Venkat is Associate Dean (International & Accreditation) (acting), responsible for making an effective contribution to internationalisation within the Faculty in accordance with the University’s and Faculty’s strategic plans. He also holds the role of Director, Assurance of Learning, responsible for executing the Faculty's plan for systematically collecting data on degree program learning outcomes, reviewing and using the data to continuously develop and improve the Faculty's academic programs.
